The birthday party boy, Daniel Toots, couldn’t help but cry when he was given a pup for his 25th birthday. A full-grown guy sobbing because of a puppy is very unusual.
However, there is a sad reason behind Daniel’s reaction to his birthday gift, and we will reveal that later.
The clip started with the birthday boy s seated on the couch, opening a package that looked like it contained a wristwatch. Daniel was entirely moved by it and commented that it seemed very expensive. But, when Daniel opened the box, he did not find a watch inside.
Instead, he saw a dog collar. The birthday boy’s brain was still attempting to figure out why he received one as a present. After connecting the dots, Daniel realized what was going on, and he was in shock!
Daniel then called out to his partner, Ashley, hiding the dozy. The birthday boy jumped up, and when he noticed his birthday gift. Daniel dropped the dog collar and buried his face with his hands as he began crying. Ashley then stepped in carrying a German Shepherd puppy.
Usually, the children cry tears of joy every time they receive a puppy as a present. But as everybody knows, our fur babies own a particular spot in our dog-loving souls. So, these types of scenarios will always strike an emotion.
Six years ago, Daniel lost his pet doggo. Since then, Daniel had wanted to get a German shepherd as his next pet pooch. Daniel never got around to doing it as he was devastated by the loss of his fur baby.
This birthday surprise orchestrated by his family is one of the sweetest things we’ve ever seen.
Young or old, a new puppy will always bring happy tears.
