Nothing is a higher priority for a mother than the safety of her kids, and this is no exclusion to mothers from the animal kingdom.
When a famous street creature recovery center in India received a call that a mother dog and her litter were in danger, some rescuers rushed to help them.
The mother dog is in distress.
When they reached the scene, they noticed the mother dog crying uncontrollably. As it turned out, her litter was buried and trapped after a house collapsed in the rain. The house was utterly destroyed, so the rescuers feared that her babies might not be alive.
But with maternal savvy, the mama canine must have been able to hear or sense that her puppies were still living. She was steadfast to tell the rescuers and begged them to save her litter.
The rescuers followed her lead and began to dig the rubble to free the pups. She realized that her dogs could suffocate at any moment, so she decided to search with the rescuer. The mother dog dug with her paws, bit at stones, and tore at the rubble.
Thankfully, the rescuers made it to the babies, and they were alive. They took them out and put them in the mother’s control. They sent the mother and her litter to a safe home near the old house. The mother canine was so happy to see her babies.
