Fostering Two Great Danes During The Quarantine Period
Jordan, a home-based worker from Florida, fostered a black Great Dane, Birdie. But she then decided to foster another Great Dane, and her name is Dixie.
From Rescue Center To Foster Home
Birdie and Dixie were boarded together from the rescue center where Jordan got both of them from. The first time they met at Jordan’s house, they were both thrilled. Birdie and Dixie were inseparable; where one goes, the other one follows.
Jordan noticed that Birdie and Dixie would always hang out with her wherever she goes in the house. Birdie also likes laying on her lap while she is on the couch working. She would make coffee for herself but save some steamed milk that she gives to the dogs as a treat.
Together at Last
Through her videos, Jordan shows how busy it can be with her cleaning the house. She enjoys doing some other chores while the dogs hang out with her. They enjoy doing the laundry and some other tasks that they have to do.
Whenever the dogs are asleep, Jordan considers it her free time and plays games on her computer. They need to stay at home because of the quarantine, but Jordan makes these times in lockdown worthwhile for her and two dogs.
Jordan’s day starts with her making up the bed, but the dogs make it hard for her because these two pooches enjoy being naughty with her all the time. They wouldn’t let Jordan fix and make the bed. There are times that they would wait for Jordan to finish making the bed before they would jump and undo what Jordan made.
She says that even though it was a lot of work having to foster two big dogs, it has made their life so much fun every day.
No one knows how long the quarantine would last. Jordan wishes that both Great Danes find a good forever home after they get adopted.
