Fur dad Cemal Şentürk had been with his dog, Boncuk, for roughly nine years. The duo would always do everything together and had never been apart for more than a few hours ever since. When Cemal needed to get admitted to the hospital for several days, Boncuk still wanted to stay by his owner’s side.
On the day Cemal was brought to the hospital by ambulance, Boncuk decided to follow the vehicle and stay outside to wait for his fur dad. Of course, he couldn’t loiter around the hospital, so Cemal’s relatives eventually brought Boncuk home with them.
However, the smart canine knew precisely what to do and where he was supposed to be. He managed to run away from home and head straight to the hospital. There, he would patiently sit by the glass doors to wait for any signs of Cemal. Since he didn’t disturb any of the patients or staff, the guards allowed him to stick around.
Boncuk continued this routine for the entirety of his owner’s hospital stay. Eventually the hospital staff noticed Boncuk and fall in love with his faithfulness to Cemal. Some of the staff would even visit the loyal pup outside and hand him snacks to feed on.
When Cemal was done with his treatment and in recovery, the staff decided to orchestrate a reunion for the duo. It was safe to say that Boncuk couldn’t be happier to see his fur dad again
He was happily wagging his tail as Cemal petted him from the bed. Their reunion was just quick and simple, Cemal was eventually discharged and sent home a few days after that. Watch their heartwarming reunion here.
