Dog Rescues Owner From Approaching Shark

Dog Rescues Owner From Approaching Shark

Double D March 21, 2021

They say dogs are surely the best friends of men. They jump to our defense over and over again, from charging to the window to bark at someone who dares to venture by our window or leaping out towards the backyard to bark at any potential robber.

But there seems to be a dog whose taking it to another level. His name is Tilly. A brave dog who came to the rescue by instinctively leaping into the ocean when he felt that his owner is on the verge of danger.

The dog knows the right thing to do

A mind-blowing video that came from Australia generated quite a buzz on the internet. The video shows how Tilly courageously leaps on a shark that seems quite near a shore and poses a potential danger to Jack, Tilly’s owner. This happened in a luxury resort in Haggerstone Island situated in North Queensland. Jack Strickland started recording when he accidentally caught the incident with his camera.

The brave guard dog, Tilly

In the uploaded video, you could see the shark swimming near the coastline. It may not appear to be a significantly giant shark, and it may not inflict severe damage, but the brave dog prioritizing her owner’s safety still jumps and fought to scare the predator away.

Tilly, seemingly uncontended, continuously looks around the frigid water, even swimming a little deeper, ensuring that her owner is safe from the potential dangerous shark. Upon realizing that the coast once again is clear and safe, she, after a while, stands tall and proud of her little show of bravery. It appears that she, like any other day, has able to secure the safety of her beloved owner.

She was able to scare away the shark without injuring and harming herself. What a very reliable and trustworthy dog she truly is. This shows another piece of evidence that proves how a dog is a man’s best buddy.
