His new friend completely transformed him.
A pup named Yankee had been wandering and living on the streets of Los Angeles for quite a while. The people in the area took care of him and fed him until one day it seemed like he might be hurt. .
A resident in the area called Hope for Paws, a rescue organization in Los Angeles, come and help the poor dog. Yankee was lying with his head sticking out from an alley, sad and defeated when rescuers arrived. He didn’t appear to be hurt – it seemed that he had given in.
When the rescuers reached out to Yankee and produced a leash, he immediately became spooked and started snarling at them. Eldad Hagar, the creator of Hope for Paws, knew the little pup was just afraid and quickly slipped his leash over him without incidence.
Life takes a turn for the better.
After a few seconds, Hagar reached out to touch him, and sweet Yankee didn’t object.
Everyone in the neighborhood was thrilled to see that Yankee was finally getting the support he needed.
Yankee’s rescuers brought him to get checked out at an animal clinic to ensure he was in the best of health. Other than needing a bath and additional grooming, he was in great shape. Still a little nervous and shy, he finally realized he was in safe surroundings.
Yankee transitioned to foster care at the rescue organization, where he took a liking to a young boy and quickly became his new best buddy.
The boy- worked with Yankee to come out of his shell and taught him the fun of going around a backyard with individuals you love. The boy’s consideration and commitment quickly changed Yankee into an adoring, energetic little canine who loves everything about living and human beings.
Now, Yankee is more prepared ready to find him forever-lasting home and a family who he’ll most likely love just as much as his incredible foster family.
