But some dogs are smoother than we think. The dog knows that we have a soft spot for them, and they will employ this to get us to do things their way.
Take Gae, for example. He’s a pup from Bangkok that attracts the attention of passers-by in a slick way: by masking a leg wound.
The reason behind the “injury.”
Gae would often show that he was suffering from a leg wound where he lived. To do this, he would drag his left rear leg. When people came to him, he would straighten up as if nothing had happened.
One resident said that the dog lived in the surrounding area for several years. And this hoax is something that he would do to attract attention. However, some thought it was just his way to get the public to give him a meal.
The neighborhood’s reactions
Initially, those who saw Gae were concerned. But when they caught on to it, they would feel entertained. Nevertheless, the habit of dragging his limb along the ground never ended.
One day, a motorcyclist stopped by Gae, thinking that they severely hurt the doge; as the motorcyclist walked toward Gae, the pup just vaulted and left, which people thought was playful.
One canine-lover who rescued street dogs claimed that Gae was excellent. Though Gae was already an older dog, his legs were all right. The rescuer said she would take Gae to the vet if the dog suffered an injury
