Fed-Ex driver reunited pooch with family A three-year-old Golden Retriever’s fondness for learning new tricks got him into a bit of trouble. The latest trick of the pooch was an escape attempt that his human family did not approve of. The dog named Catcher wandered away from her home all on her own, and it was quite likely that she could have gone missing forever except for the kindness of a stranger.
The dog’s owner Liza Menzies and her husband had to go out of town for a day, and that is when the pooch decided to leave the house in pursuit of some adventures of her own. Incidentally, a contractor was working at the family’s house, and when he left the house for a lunch break, he forgot to close the door tightly enough. The wind blew the door open, and Catcher could not resist the opportunity to go on her journey.
When Liza returned and found out that her beloved pooch had escaped, she immediately feared the worst. The family was extremely worried that the dog might get lost forever, or she might put herself in a dangerous situation.
However, a kind soul made his entry into the story and did not let anything bad happen to the pooch. A FedEx driver was able to spot the lost pooch while he was driving the delivery vehicle. The Good Samaritan just could not leave the pooch behind, so he decided to make a special delivery.
The driver found Liza’s number and address on the dog’s tag and called the owner to inform her that her dog was safe and sound. The FedEx driver then got the dog on his truck and took her where she belonged. The driver dropped Catcher inside her home and made sure the door was tightly closed this time around.
